Welcome to the world little Mia…it’s a little brighter with you in it! I walked into Mia’s room and was in love. Her mother has amazing taste, every little detail ahhhdorable like something out of a magazine. I’ve known Vicki for years as a friend, colleague and now mother. I felt so grateful to be able to capture this beautiful time in their lives. Mia is beautiful and blessed to have you as parents! CONGRATULATIONS!
As long as I have known Vickie she’s wanted to be Mommy. I was thrilled to be able to capture their excitement and happiness. You two will make amazing parents! I smile to think of all the love that awaits this little angel! I hope these pictures make you smile and remember this beautiful time in your lives! I can’t wait to meet her! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
This little angel had the most pristine features…perfect skin, lips as if I drew them on and beautiful almond shaped eyes just like his Daddy. He slept the entire time waking only for a mid- morning feeding. I LOVED Jaxon’s nursery- his mom made most of the decorations! There were so many special things with sentimental value we used in the shoot. The bassinette was made by Jaxon’s great- grandpa and where his Mommy slept as a little one. His parents are both big sports fans and wanted to incorporate the baseball glove and bat his Daddy used as a little boy and in collage. Even the blankets were handmade. Jaxon is one loved little guy! CONGRATULATIONS…you two are blessed! and don’t worry…you’ll get some sleep soon ☺
This sweet couple met in high school. They are expecting their first in a couple weeks! They will be such loving and adoring parents! Momma had the cutest little baby bump for being so close to her due date! She was a champ as we hiked through the foothills on a winter day. They are expecting a baby BOY! I’m thrilled to do his first photo shoot!
Photography is my art. It’s what I surround myself with- the people, moments, and memories I cherish most. I feel honored to capture some of most special times in people’s lives- the senseless love of a newly engaged couple, marrying the person of their dreams, a first baby, and together as a family. Maternity sessions are a favorite! It took until I was 39 weeks pregnant with my third to get the courage to have maternity pictures taken. To this day they are some of my all time favorite pictures of me and the only I’ll hang of just me on the wall. Yes, my hair and boobs were fantastic…but what I love most is they bring me back to the days I carried my little angels. It was a brief magical window. an enormous responsibility. a privilege. I felt lucky and blessed to nurture them, feel my angels spread their wings, hold them, and take them everywhere. My baby girl is now three, but she still loves to go back and look at the pictures of when Mommy had her in her tummy.
I hope these pictures make you smile and remind you of this beautiful time in your lives!
